Essex Skills Centre offers the LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pump Systems.

This regulated RQF qualification is for those wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of Air Source Heat Pumps Systems (Non-refrigerant Circuits). This qualifications is recognised by the MCS registration bodies to join the scheme.

Candidates will need to meet minimum qualification and experience requirements: 

• A Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing/heating/gas/oil

• A valid core gas safety CCN1 certificate.

• An OFTEC Oil certificate.

• A valid HETAS certificate.

Operatives must also hold a valid Water Regulations certificate, if not held as part of an NVQ. 

The cost of the course includes training, assessment and the certification fee.
